    FUND RAISER & GRANT IDEAS:

    I know budget cuts continue to be added to our educational system.
    By inviting an author to your school, you'll see the butterfly effect with your students for years to come.
    While there are no test scores to prove this, your students will show more interest in reading, writing, and exploring the avenues to learning.

    There are different fundraisers to hold. Also many foundations and organizations provide grants to help supplement or cover the costs of an author visit.
    Hopefully this page will help you discover different ways to help bring authors to your classrooms.

    If you would like to book an Author Visit, but feel as if I am out of your price range, please consider the following options:

    a)Wholesale Purchase Pre-sell books. My publisher gives schools a great discount, which serves as a fundraiser.
    A minimum of 5 books of the same ISBN# need to be purchased to be applied.
    Please follow THIS LINK to purchase books for your Fund Raising Event.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    b)Grants
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    c) Other ways to raise money:
    • Bake sales
    • 'Have Lunch with an Author'
    • PTA / PTO / other school organizations
    • Sponsorship from local businesses, organizations, ect.
    • Title I Monies
