Children’s Book Author
TRACEY M. COX
Tracey M. Cox lives in South Georgia with her husband, three sons, and their dogs, Roxi and Yankee. She has always loved stories. Even before she was writing, she enjoyed listening to her Papa tell her stories, some were his own. During high school she wrote for a grade, never thinking of taking it one step further. Then Tracey’s life cycled around. She found herself telling her children the stories, fairy tales, and tale tales she had heard when she was little. And something clicked...
Tracey has been writing professionally since 2000, when she received the best advice in the world, "Mom, that story would make a cool book!" Since then Tracey has written many stories and has had success as a professional writer in newspapers, magazines, online magazines, anthologies, and –yes–books.
She enjoys making author visits to schools and libraries, book signings at businesses, fairs, and festivals, being a guest speaker for organizations, and going anywhere else she can find to spread her love of the written word.
Her picture books have been published by Guardian Angel Publishing. Picture Books include: “Shaping Up the Year” published in June, 2009; “Ribbert’s Way Home” published in October, 2010; "Liddil Gets Her Light" published in June, 2011.
